Andrew and Kimberly started singing duets as a #DaddyDaughterDuo and made music videos during the Covid-19 pandemic. A musician by profession, Andrew is also a concert and musical theatre producer. He took notice of Kimberly’s voice when she recorded an excerpt of a song for a virtual concert in 2021. This initiated the idea to sing duets together.

Inspired by The Crosbys and Claire’s version of “I See The Light”, Andrew decided to do sing with Kimberly and this became their first Daughter Daughter Duet. It was a one-shot video and Mommy also made an appearance playing the harp.

Since then, more videos were produced and they also drew inspiration from the sensational duo, Mat & Savanna from Utah. When things started to recover and lockdowns were lifted, live shows were back and a perfect opportunity for Andrew & Kimberly to make their debut live appearance, which they did, in “Time To Shine”, a concert held in Kimberly’s school.

Slowly and surely, they decided to move forward in this endeavour and create an identity as the Daddy Daughter Duo from Malaysia. In addition to music video production, Andrew & Kimberly has made themselves available to perform for events especially if it’s to support a good cause. This is in line with their aim to #spreadkindness and to make #musicforthesoul

Kaitlyn joined in when she was 4 and they became The Drew Family Music!
