Andrew and Kimberly began singing duets as a #DaddyDaughterDuo, creating music videos during the Covid-19 pandemic. A musician by profession, Andrew is also a concert and musical theatre producer. He first took notice of Kimberly’s voice when she recorded a song excerpt for a virtual concert in 2021, sparking the idea to perform duets together.

Inspired by The Crosbys and Claire Crosby’s rendition of “I See The Light”, Andrew decided to record a duet with Kimberly. That became their very first Daddy-Daughter Duet — a one-shot video featuring a special appearance by Mommy, who played the harp.

Since then, more videos followed, with creative inspiration drawn from the sensational duo Mat & Savanna Shaw from Utah. When live shows returned after the lockdowns were lifted, Andrew and Kimberly made their debut live appearance in 2022 at “Time To Shine”, a concert held at Kimberly’s school.

Gradually, they continued to grow in this endeavour, embracing the journey wholeheartedly and establishing themselves as the Daddy-Daughter Duo from Malaysia. Beyond producing music videos, Andrew and Kimberly also perform at events, especially those that support meaningful causes — staying true to their mission to #spreadkindness and create #musicforthesoul.

Kaitlyn joined in when she was four, and together they became The Drew Family Music!
